Tender description

This opportunity relates to the provision, implementation and maintenance of ICT systems and services relating to the operations and management of the new Operations Centre located in Bristol City. Operations Centre Vision: ‘To create an integrated city-wide management, service delivery and collaborative centre for Bristol, focussed on the needs of citizens, and aided by an open information platform to aid innovation’. Operations Centre Objectives: The co-location of existing control centres into a new, integrated operation. Creating capacity and enabling capability to sell and take on additional services, functions and partners that enhance income generation and underpinning the ultimate vision for a Best in Class Operations Centre. The council is looking to replace and / or upgrade the following systems: — CCTV Recording and Storage; — Video Management and Control; — Urban Traffic Management Control; — Urban Traffic Control and Remote Monitoring; — Accident and Incident Management; and — Assisted Living Telecare. A level of integration into the following pre-existing systems will be required: — Security Alarms; — Help (Call) Points; and — Harbour and Environmental Monitoring.
