Tender description

This contract is for: — The design, manufacture and installation of an appropriate number of Central Management System (CMS) collectors; — The design, manufacture and supply of associated tele-cells; — The provision of an externally hosted CMS using the above components for control, monitoring and reporting to thereby enable the Purchaser on an ongoing basis after the installation process has been completed to appropriately minimise the energy consumption of the LED luminaires and minimise the overall maintenance of the Purchaser's street lighting stock. The Purchaser intends replacing its stock of street lighting apparatus with LED luminaires controlled by a Central Management System (CMS). An inventory of the lighting stock is included in the tender documents — there are approximately 47 000 residential street lights and 21 000 street lights on the County's major roads. The Purchaser's intended installation programme is for approximately 17 000 tele-cells to be replaced annually. Estimated value excluding VAT: 5 500 000 GBP.
