Tender description

Bromsgrove District Council is procuring a 21-year management contract for the operation of the new Bromsgrove Leisure Centre. The contract will commence on 4 September 2017. A design and build contract for the new centre is being separately procured by the Council in parallel with the management contract. The new centre will comprise — 6 lane x 25 m pool including stepped access and platform list — Learner pool with moveable floor to accommodate aqua aerobics class — 100 seat spectator gallery — 100 station health and fitness suite — 3 multi-purpose studios — 25 spinning studio with storage for bikes — Spa with health and treatment rooms — Sauna and steam room — Climbing facility (clip and climb) — Reception area and café space — Changing rooms — 200 parking spaces, including for coaches and mini buses. The contract also covers the management of the indoor sports facilities at North Bromsgrove High School.
