Tender description

Essex County Council is putting in place a contract to create the ability for several partners to use a data sharing platform and predictive risk modelling tool that will produce a range of analytical reports and will also link with geo-spatial systems to provide a geographical view. The aim of the Project is to ‘Provide an IT platform to standardise information collection, strengthen information sharing and data analytics to predict risk and provide early interventions’ for a wide variety of areas. The intention is to progress through a prototype (the New Generations project) which will be scoped around a specific local area and be relevant for children under 5, unborn babies and their families. There will be an initial prototype to test aspects of the solution and information sharing protocols. If the prototype is successful and the project is progressed in the future it is intended that this system and functionality will be available for organisations within Greater Essex. The Agreement term for this agreement with be 4 year(s) based on 2+1+1 where year 1 and 2 covers the prototype phase after which the Agreement may or may not be extended. The decision to extend the Agreement with is at the sole discretion of Essex County Council.
