Choice Housing has 2 main offices — Leslie Morrell House (LMH), 37-41 May Street, Belfast, BT1 4DN and Maple House (MH) in Beechill Business Park, Beechill Road, Belfast, BT8 9QN and 67 Schemes. We require quick and reliable communications between the main offices and the scheme offices. Scheme offices mainly have a single user, who will not be present in the office full time, but require access to our Citrix servers when they are in the office. In addition staff members who need to travel in the course of their work may also want to work in a scheme to make use of the network connection and printer. We are looking for a 100 Mbps connection in both of the main offices and FTTC connections in the schemes where possible. We need schemes to have access to the internet without generating traffic (other than DNS and management) on the links into the main offices, but there must be a unified threat management system in place between the scheme users and the internet. We require this solution to be managed for us, with replacement equipment configured and sent out as required. We are looking for an option to be able to provide internet access by Wi-Fi for tenants in the communal lounge which will not have any access to the corporate WAN. This must also have basic web filtering given that this internet will be used in a public location. The bandwidth should be able to be controlled so that this does not interfere with the usual use of the WAN. Further detail will be provided in the Invitation to Tender documents.
