Network Rail's High Output Track Renewals (HOTR) is responsible for the management and delivery of high-quality plain line track renewals on the UK's primary mainline routes, using factory-like trains to relay rail, sleepers and ballast. Network Rail (NR) is seeking to explore options for national delivery partner(s) to supply both site and office-based staff to support these works. Due to the nature of the site works, we require dedicated staff that fully understand their working environment, which means we need to be able to retain key staff with experience and knowledge of HOTR production. For competencies where experience and knowledge of HOTR are not critical, contingent labour will be managed on a campaign by campaign basis, with no requirement for the retention of dedicated staff. NR will engage with the market to understand the potential for providing this service. NR plans to hold a pre-market engagement session, date to be confirmed, to enable interested parties to obtain further information regarding NR's requirements, as well as providing them the opportunity to give feedback to NR.
