Consultancy Support for Global Review of Smart City Strategies

The Catapult is undertaking an exercise to appoint a suitably capable and experienced supplier to provide consultancy support for a global review of smart city strategies. This project will • review the state of the art for smart city strategies; • establish a foundation for the FCC’s thought leadership in city strategies; • help to guide city leaders on the approach they should take to the smart city space, tackling key questions; • extend and strengthen the FCC’s networks globally.  We envisage several outputs from this work: • An interim report on the types of smart city strategy in the world today • An event at Smart City Expo in Barcelona • A final report on how strategies are formulated, implemented and impactful • A launch event. To deliver these outputs, we will require desk research, city engagement (interviews) and potentially fieldwork. The supplier will provide the research and support in drafting the outputs for this project.
