South Main Electrical Upgrade Project

Tender description

The project in general terms is the establishment of two new South Main Electrical Panels (A & B) within new external GRP enclosures and then the subsequent transfer over of sub-main circuits, from the old “South Main Panel” to the new. The works will consist of: • Installation of new panels and GRP enclosures. • Connection of new sub-main cables previously installed under an enabling package. • Disconnecting old outgoing circuits from the redundant panel where required. • Jointing on and reconnecting outgoing circuits to new panels. • Installation new sub-main and containment from the new panels. • Test & commission of all new and reconnected circuits.
