North Lincolnshire Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to explore alternative delivery model options that will ensure the future of golf and golf related activities at Kingsway Golf course in Scunthorpe. In particular, one option the council is keen to investigate is the development of footgolf opportunities to complement the golf provision. Kingsway Golf Course is set in mature woodland just off the Berkley Circle,Scunthorpe. Kingsway Golf Course was opened in the early 1970's as a 9 hole pay and play venue. The council extended the course to 11 holes in the early 2000's when the practice ground was converted to accommodate the change. Ancillary facilities include a small shop, flat, welfare facilities and good car parking. Until July 2016 the course was managed under a service agreement with a PGA Golf RFI documents are available to download via http://www.yortender.co.uk The deadline for the submission of RFI documents is Monday 26.9.2016 at 12:00 noon.
