(NU/1209) Support Services for Newcastle University Talend-Based ETL (Extract/Transform/Load) System

Tender description

Talend is deployed by Newcastle University to provide an ETL process for institutional data; extracting data from systems of record around the University, transforming and combining this data for the purpose of integrating customer facing systems and then loading the data into the target systems in the desired format. The system also provides an Enterprise Service Bus/web service generation for data delivery and is completely interoperable with all operating systems, file-store and database infrastructure, as well as Cloud services. Jobs and services are controlled, orchestrated and monitored via an administration console providing feedback on job execution/completion status. The University wishes to procure support services for its existing Talend based ETL system that is used to: • Extract data from systems of record around the University; • Transform and combine this data for the purpose of integrating customer facing systems and then loading the data into the target systems in the desired format; • Provide an Enterprise Service Bus/web service generation for data delivery.
