BBC 0816 Old Highway Toilets Improvements

Tender description

The Council wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to undertake improvement works to the public toilet facilities at the Old Highway Open Space in Hoddesdon. An exact work start date will be mutually agreed as part of the award of contract. The Council is keen for the work to be completed by the end of January 2017. Works include: • Removal of all existing toilets, basins and fittings as well as one internal wall. • Removal and blocking up of two windows as well as extending existing blockwork. • Supply and install new doors and door frames to building. • Supply and install all new toilets, basins, taps, grab rails, internal doors and other fittings as specified including all necessary plumbing, tiling and boxing work. • Supply and install signs as specified. • Install new electrical supply from nearby shed and supply and install distribution board. • Supply and install heaters, water heater, fans and emergency lighting. • Carry out internal and external decorating works as specified and repair roof tiles as necessary. • Carry out all work to the appropriate national standards whether and as per the manufacturer’s instructions whether stated in the Specification or not and provide electrical certification.
