Provision of an Evaluation of Vanguard Status

Tender description

Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites tenders for the provision of an evaluation of its status as a Vanguard site. The new care models programme, being implemented through the 50 Vanguards, aims to catalyse the widespread adoption of new models of care that improve the health and wellbeing of patients, the quality of care that patients receive, and the efficiency of the overall system. Evaluation of the Vanguards is an essential component of achieving these goals and is a core part of the approach that has been developed by the central evaluation team at NHS England. The overall aim of this study is to undertake a detailed process and impact evaluation of the South Somerset ‘Symphony’ project. The study should be both formative and summative in its design and will require on-going co-design as change occurs. As such, it should be used to shape the delivery of the programme as it is delivered, as well as provide summative findings on the impact that the programme is having.
