Tender description

Northampton General Hospital Trust (NGHT) has a requirement for a supply of fracture boots. These boots will be used in both our Fracture Clinic and A&E. These boots will be used to accommodate patients that need fractures supporting instead of using Plaster or fibreglass which are moulded and not removable; the fracture boots allow patients to be able to take them off whilst resting, allowing them to wash their feet and legs. We see between 600 and 900 patients a week, and fracture boots are one of the most popular product we use, and all clinical staff have training to apply them; what is more patients can reapply themselves, allowing them freedom from plaster.
