Tender description
The contract is for the extension and refurbishment of the existing Queensferry Gardens Children’s Home which is a circa 1970’s traditional brick and blockwork constructed building, a little bigger than a pair of semi-detached houses. The building currently contains six bedrooms and is designed along the lines of a large family home. The contract will be to build a single storey extension at the rear of the building to form a games room, to convert the existing garage into a small self-contained flat, to change the existing bedrooms into rooms with shower and toilet facilities and study areas, to create a ground floor bedroom to cater for a child with mobility issues, to refurbish the kitchen, dining room and living room and to enhance the staff facilities. It is recommended that you express interest and obtain the documentation well before this time to allow sufficient time to prepare and submit a comprehensive response.
