Tender description
Lister Community School is situated in Plaistow, East London, and is a mixed comprehensive secondary school they welcome both students and staff from a diverse multicultural background. The maximum capacity for students is 1,350. Currently the roll is 1,330. The school is larger than the average secondary school in the London Borough of Newham. The school benefits from being located in new and purpose built accommodation on a single site with ample outdoor areas and the use of an all-weather sports pitch. The school was built under the ‘Building Schools for the Future PFI programme’. The catering service at Lister Community School is currently managed by Newham Catering and Cleaning Services (NCCS). The School wishes to place their catering service to competitive tender and are inviting professional catering organisations to bid for the contract which will be awarded following due process by 12.10.2016 with a new contract start sate of 1.4.2017.
