Milton Keynes Council (‘the Council’) has initiated an open tender procedure in order to procure Framework Contract/s for the supply of domestic goods for the Local Welfare Provision Scheme: Lot 1 — Kitchen Appliances, Lot 2 — Beds and Lot 3 — Floor Coverings. Lot 3 Basic carpet including fitting and fitting accessories, Vinyl floor covering including fitting and fitting accessories. Lot 1 consists of: Under counter Fridge; Under counter Fridge freezer (separate external freezer door); Medium Fridge freezer (minimum fridge volume 85 ltrs, minimum freezer volume 28 ltrs); Tall fridge freezer (minimum fridge volume 110 ltrs, minimum freezer volume 60 ltrs); Under counter Freezer; Electric Cooker (minimum 4 ring, single oven, grill, 500 mm wide, free-standing); Washing machine (minimum 5 kg load, 1000 rpm spin); Microwave (minimum 700 watt, 17 litre capacity). Boiling ring (twin electric). Lot 2 consists of Bed base with mattress: 3’ Single, 4’ 6” Double, 3’ Single orthopaedic, 4’ 6” Double orthopaedic. Mattress only: 3’ Single, 4’ 6” Double, 3’ Single Orthopaedic, 4’ 6” Double Orthopaedic, Bunk beds including installation, Cot with mattress (minimum 120 cm long x 60 cm wide mattress) (not a travel cot).
