Disposable catering supplies

Tender description

Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) is inviting tenders for the supply of Catering Disposable products across the Borough. The produce required will include items such as: — 16oz Coke Cup — 100 m White Paper Banquet Roll — Chip Tray — Pizza Slice — Bakery Bags — Plastic Cutlery — Wooden Stirrers — Burger Wrap — Food Prep Labels — Salad Containers — Catering Clingfilm, Foil and Baking Parchment De liveries are required to school kitchens, social care establishments and other RMBC catering outlets such as the Town Hall, country parks and cafes. The current establishment list can be found in Appendix B, but may be subject to change throughout the duration of the contract. Spend on catering disposables is estimated to be 80 000 GBP per annum in total although this cannot be guaranteed. The intention is to award to a sole supplier, however if 1 supplier cannot meet the council's requirements then the tender will be awarded to additional participant(s). The new agreement shall be let for an initial period of 1 year, with the option to extend at the sole discretion of the Council for a further 3 years, each on a year by year basis. All suppliers who wish to be considered for this tender must register on the YORtender system and electronically complete and upload the ITT document onto the system. All ITT documents must be returned through the system and will not be accepted by any other means.
