Repair and maintenance services of catering equipment

Tender description

Portsmouth City Council ‘the Authority’ is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of catering equipment. The Contract will be awarded to a single provider and will run for an initial term of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 2 years. The estimated value of the contract is 100 000 GBP per annum. The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 17.10.2016 with a commencement date of 1.11.2016. Portsmouth City Council ‘the Authority’ is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the provision of servicing, maintenance, repair and installation of catering equipment. The Authority has a number of buildings where catering appliances are installed. These buildings include, but may not be limited to: — Schools; — Academies; — Elderly sheltered schemes; — Supported living sites for disabled adults; — Care homes; — Offices; — And Community centres. Scope of Services will include, but may not be limited to: — Service of all equipment at each address listed on the schedule (and as per any amendments to the list during the contract period); — Follow up services annually at 12 month intervals; — Breakdown call-out service to be available between the hours of 7:30 and 18:00, 7 days a week including weekends and Bank Holidays; — The call-out response time shall be within 2 or 4 hours as required by the contract administrator; — Emergency short-term loan of refrigeration equipment; — Replacement of non-serviceable equipment, where necessary; — Installation of new additional equipment. The estimated value of the contract is 100 000 GBP per annum. The initial Contract period will be for 2 years with possibility of extending the term by a further 2 years to a maximum total term of 4 years in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.
