MFF 15 2016-2020 Supply and Delivery of Plastic Piling

Tender description

1.This Invitation for Tender is to establish a Framework Agreement, the objective of which is the supply & delivery of Plastic Piling for the purpose of creating dams in peat moorlands to create habitat pools and assist in the rewetting of the moors. 2. The Framework Agreement is for the period 1 October 2016 to 15 March 2020 (“the Framework Period”). This means that, after evaluation of the Tenderers’ Forms of Tenders, the Authority will appoint Framework Contractors to carry out the Works throughout the Framework Period. The framework process is set out in Section 2 (Instructions on Submitting a Tender). 3. The Plastic Piling as specified below has previously been used to create the dams required. However, Contractors are invited to suggest any other products that would be fit for purpose and appropriate to create dams. We have therefore included an Itemised Costs section for alternative products and request that specification sheets are supplied with the tender for all alternative products.
