Tender description

St. Ignatius College is a Catholic Comprehensive School for boys and in the trusteeship of The Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). It was founded at Stamford Hill in 1894, and moved to the Enfield site in 1968. Like all Jesuit schools, its aim is to provide a sound, intellectual and technological formation, not as an end in itself but as an aid to the fullest possible development of each individual student. The school currently provides education for some 1 072 students in the 11 to 18 age group, including 216 Sixth Form Students. The School day is 8:40 till 15:05 (but breakfast is served from 7:30) and only Sixth Form Students are allowed off site during the School day. 7:30 to 8:30 Breakfast (all students are entitled to have free breakfast). 11:00 to 11:15 Morning Break in main dining room and Sixth Form area. 13:25 to 14:00 Lunch for all students and staff. The School currently has an entitlement of 143 free school meal students.
