Request for Information - Meridian Showground

This is not a call for competition, this is early market engagement to help shape our thinking and future options for the site. The Council is wishing to enter into discussions with the experts in the event management sector to understand the level of interest in the Meridian Showground and to understand what opportunities are available to maximise the use of the venue for residents and visitors alike. The Council is undertaking a two stage process because it feels it will get a better understanding of responses to the questionnaire through a follow-up face-to-face discussion, rather than dialogue via electronic means. The follow-up discussion is not mandatory, and organisations are welcome to submit just the questionnaire without attending the face-to face discussion (market day). All organisations are invited to attend the follow up market day, where discussions of 45 minutes will be held individually at the Meridian Showground on 22nd September 2016.
