Pre-Qualification of Contractors for Construction of Advance Technology Buildings at IDA Sligo & Castlebar Business & Technology Parks

Tender description

This Questionnaire relates to the development of two Advance Technology Units for IDA Ireland, designed to provide high quality production and office accommodation, which will accommodate future manufacturing/ technological businesses. These two projects will be bundled together and tendered as one contract. The successful contractor will be required to construct both developments concurrently. General description of the proposal - the construction and completion of Advance Technology Units, including reinforced Concrete (RC) foundations and ground floor slab, blockwork and RC rising walls, steelwork frame, composite metal cladding, RC and blockwork walls and partitions, Composite floors and stairs, glazing and doors, M+E installations, lifts and associated siteworks. The units will be completed to shell & core level in the open production areas and in the office areas. It is intended that the Advance Technology Units will be bundled and tendered together as one contract to the short list of Contractors drawn from this process. The projects are identified on two separate sites with details as follows:- Site 1 is located at Castlebar Business & Technology Park, Co Mayo with an approximate gross floor area of 2,900 m2. Planning Ref TBC. Site 2 is located at Sligo Business &Technology Park, Finisklin, Sligo, with an approximate gross floor area of 2,900 m2. Planning Ref TBC.
