Tender description

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition. This PIN is issued by the Information Management and Technology Group (IMT) of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and does not require a response. The IMT Group expects to invite submissions from suppliers with expertise and capability relating to the delivery of teams of Skilled ICT Resources. The IMT Group envisages that it will require skilled external resources over the next 3-4 years in order to continue to supply high quality, secure and stable ICT systems to the Department. It is envisaged that the requirement will be sub-divided into Lots and that the Lots will relate to specific skills or specified IT Projects/work areas. The IMT Group currently has staff and external resources located in Dublin, Wexford; Celbridge, County Kildare; Portlaoise, County Laois and Clonakility, County Cork. This Lot relates to the engagement of an external Software Test team to augment the IMT staff assigned to this work area. A non-exhaustive list of the potential roles on the external team includes a Delivery Manager, Team Lead, Software Testers, Test Team Lead, Test Performance specialists, Test Automation specialists, Test Manager, Test Co-ordinator, etc. This Lot relates to the engagement of an external Business Analysis team to augment the IMT staff assigned to this work area.
