GREAT for Partnership: Prior Information Notice (PIN) July 2017 This is a prior information notice (PIN) only. DFID will publish a tender in Summer 2016 seeking delivery partner(s) for a new programme to deliver the manifesto commitment to boost partnerships between UK institutions and their counterparts in the developing world. The programme, GREAT for Partnership, will leverage the skills and expertise from a range of UK government departments and institutions and supply them to DFID partner countries, based on tailored demands. The purpose of this Notice is to inform that DFID will host an Early Market Engagement Event (EME) about the planned programme to be held on Monday, 15.8.2016, from 10:00 to 13:00 BST at DFID, 22 Whitehall, London, SW1A 2EG. Programme Information GREAT for Partnership will initially be establishing partnerships in the Health, Financial Accountability and Anti-Corruption and Extractives sector. We hope it will expand both in geographical and technical sector scope over time, subject to funding available. Main Programme Activities Delivery of this programme will require the Supplier(s) to fulfil 4 key functions: — A leadership function to provide strategic direction and oversight to the whole programme, and strong coordination across Whitehall — Excellent programme and fund management including brokering new partnerships and deployment support for UK staff — A monitoring, evaluation and learning function both of specific partnership activity, as well as coordinating learning across sectors, across Whitehall, and internationally. — First class communications, of the programme, its impact and potential. Supplier Portal DFID will be hosting an Early Market Engagement Event about the GREAT for Partnership and the services required from interested parties. The main objective is to elicit market views on the feasibility of the proposed outputs and delivery options and to discuss challenges and opportunities.
