Tender description

Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust (formerly South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Torbay and Southern Health and Care NHS Trust), the contracting authority, acting as the lead on behalf of a consortium of healthcare institutions has procured a community wide ePrescribing, Medicines Management and Administration (EPMA) solution. The EPMA solution includes implementation, maintenance and ongoing support thereof for a period of 10 years from implementation with an exit option at 5 years. Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust are the contracting Authority, South Devon and Torbay Clinical Commissioning Group, Devon Partnership NHS Trust, Devon Doctors Limited, South Western Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust and any of the organisation's subcontractors carrying out services on their behalf are third party beneficiaries of the contract. The solution will support cross community working and be hosted within the local Health Informatics Service (HIS). Additional functionality set out within the tender and subsequent contract, at the Authority's option, can be added within 18 months of the contract start.
