The Appointment of a Taunton Marketing and Communication Partner

Taunton is the County Town of Somerset and its fastest growing settlement, with a population expected to reach approximately 85,000 by 2028. Growth is the Council’s top priority. With a strong Town Centre, a thriving existing business community and a range of key economic regeneration and infrastructure projects under way or planned, we now have excellent conditions for creating transformational economic growth. We would now like to commission a strategic marketing and communications partner to showcase all the excellent opportunities that Taunton has on offer, promoting Taunton as an investment destination and achieving our full growth potential. Further information is included within the Brief included in Section 4 (Requirements) The Contract is expected to be for 24 months from September 2016 to August 2018. However, the Contract will provide for the extension of the contract by a further 12 months/years to September 2019. Please note that demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of marketing for other locations is a mandatory pass/fail requirement of this tender.
