The purpose of this notice is to draw the attention of potential suppliers to a procurement that Wiltshire Council intends to commence within the next 3 Months which will comprise 2 distinct projects; A350 Phase 3 Chippenham Bypass Dualling Scheme — The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership's Strategic Economic Plan (SEP), sees improvements to the A350 Chippenham Bypass as a key enabler to accelerating economic growth in the A350 Growth Zone. The A350 provides an important north-south link through western Wiltshire connecting Chippenham with the M4 to the north and the A36 to the south. M4 Junction 17 Part-Signalisation Scheme — The Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership's Strategic Economic Plan (SEP), sees improvements to the A350 Chippenham Bypass as a key enabler to accelerating economic growth in the A350 Growth Zone. The Authority expressly reserves the rights: (I) Not to award any contract as a result of a procurement process related to this notice or to cancel a related procurement at any stage; (II) To make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition; (III) To award (a) contract(s) in respect of any part(s) of the (Services) covered by this notice; and (IV) To award contract(s) in stages.(V) And in no circumstances will the Authority be liable for any costs incurred by candidates. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly at risk of the company participating in this procurement process. (VI) The Contracting Authority intends to use an e-Tendering system in this procurement exercise. Potential contractors are to note that the council reserve the right to modify the information within this PIN at contract notice.
