Who Speclialist Work With You'll be working with the Newham 2020 team (who are delivering a programme of transformation for the Council, working to the Director of Transformation), Council staff and 3rd party suppliers as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver the Discovery phase of the programme. What Specialists Work On Act as Technical Architect for Discovery phase of Newham's Digital Customer Programme. Technical leadership over a number of Newham Council's digital products in Discovery ensuring digital by default standards Where the Work Takes Place London Borough of Newham, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements Monday to Friday on site. A professional working day, hours and working pattern as needed to deliver the service in an efficient way. Mainly based from our office in Dockside, London although some time in other Council offices and locations will be necessary from time to time. Work Location London Borough of Newham, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU Security Clearance Additional T&Cs Skills & Experience Effectively capture, utilise and share customer insight and views from a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure better policy and delivery Knowledge of Agile product management, in particular determination of vision, objectives, goals and success criteria Proven capability in managing technology implementation projects and in presenting to / working with stakeholders at every level of seniority Comprehensive and recent experience designing and implementing complex software systems, i.e. is an active software developer currently engaged in architecting and building high-volume digital services Experience of designing solutions to deliver complex, high volume, sensitive transactional services Nice to Haves Web development background Experience of Government Digital by Default Service Standard and Technology Code of Practice Experience of designing solutions in line with CESG information security standards No. of Specialists to Evaluate 5 Cultural Fit Criteria Work as a team with our organisation and other suppliers Transparent and collaborative when making decisions Have a no-blame culture and encourage people to learn from their mistakes Agile principles at the core of everything Assessment Method Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 50% Cultural fit 20% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers Budget range
