Tender description

The aim of this prior information notice is to assess if there is any interest from any parties in designing, building and operating an ice rink within the city of Brighton and Hove. This is in response to the Council being aware of support for an ice rink in city from the local community. In the current, challenging financial climate within the public sector, the Council does not have any funds allocated to develop such a scheme. However, the Council would like to work with interested parties who would need to be resourceful in putting forward any initial proposals. The Council would welcome feedback from any interested parties for a period of 4 months from the date when this notice has been published. In the 1st instance interest should be expressed by email together with possible initial proposals to the contact person in this prior information notice. Any interested parties may be invited for an informal discussion with the Council to discuss the viability of any proposals. It should be noted that this prior information notice is not a call for competition.
