Tender description

The NMC currently maintains several office locations and hearings centres across the UK. Most of the locations are already furnished with equipment such as microphones and cabling, but at least part of it needs upgrading. The NMC wishes to: — Record all hearings and preliminary meetings in electronic form; — Provide any party to the proceedings, who applies for 1, with a transcript of any part of the hearing or preliminary meeting at which she/he was entitled to be present. Lot 1 — Implement Digital Audio Recording (DAR), including secure storage of captured data, provision of new or upgrade of existing equipment (microphones, cabling etc.) and ongoing maintenance and support of equipment for 14 fixed hearing rooms in Stratford, London. Lot 2 — Provide 2 portable DAR solutions for temporary hearing rooms that can be held anywhere in the UK. (Optional). Lot 3 — Secure transcription of recorded material into digital text files. (Optional). Lot 4 — Provide support and maintenance of existing equipment for the NMC's hearing rooms, board rooms and meeting rooms in Portland Place, Aldwych and Edinburgh. (Optional).
