Tender description

The notice published is to seek expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to carry out electrical works to domestic properties, acting as sub-contractor to Derwentside Homes' in house DLO. The works shall incorporate two main elements, which may be combined by applicants. The two elements are - (a) works to full house rewires, including removal of existing, chasing walls, first and second fix, together with rewires to kitchen and/or bathroom only; (b) electrical works/connections to boiler/central heating replacements. Currently we undertake (a) around 70 installs, and (b) around 400 boiler upgrades per year
