Tender description

This tender exercise is for the purchase of a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on-premise hosted solution. Economic Operators are invited to submit a tender to assist in the redesign of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's ICT Service Desk CRM solution, along with its processes. Through the implementation and development of the chosen solution the Council is aiming to reduce manual administration and increase automation, create a central point of contact for ICT, and facilitate approval processes within the system to provide better audit trails. The solution provided will be required to realise and sustain the following benefits, post-implementation for the term of the contract: More efficient and productive workforce through automated processes Reduction in manual intervention More efficient use of staff time / reduction in unproductive time Improve response times to resolve calls Increased customer satisfaction Improved performance, monitoring and data collection to reduce back office processing and improve data quality Increased controls and improved audit trail for processes requiring authorization A single Economic Operator will be awarded the contract and this will be the company who achieves the highest score against the published Award Criteria.
