TD1129-Provision of Consultancy services to examine the creation of an arm's length trading vehicle and multi academy trust

Tender description

Derby City Council is seeking to procure someone to work in partnership with the Local Authority and schools to examine the creation of a trading vehicle at arm's length to the council. This trading vehicle would be specifically based on providing services to schools and would need to be provide flexible and responsive to the needs of schools and which reflects the changing roles of schools and LAs. The services need to have the ability to trade freely across LA borders and share the same passion as schools to see the continued improvement in outcomes for all children and young people. Services need to be able to enter in to agreements with different Multi Academy Trusts both in Derby and outside of the city.
