Road Restraint Systems, Re-tensioning, Planned Work and Repairs 2016

Tender description

Leicestershire County Council and Leicester City Council (the Employer) is seeking to identify and appoint a Contractor to provide a Road Restraint System service. The work includes Re-Tensioning existing safety barrier and associated traffic management for that part of the service. Additionally the Contractor provides a service to carry out planned safety fence work and repairs. Temporary Traffic Management is optional on that part of the service as the Employer has the option to provide his own Temporary Traffic Management. The estimated contract value is £200k per annum. The proposed contract period is two years with potential extensions of a further two years in one year increments subject to performance. The Employer intends to appoint only one Contactor to provide the service.
