Nursing Associate Test Sites - Grant funding process

Tender description

Health Education England invites health and social care employers and education providers to put forward partnership or consortia grant funding applications to be part of an innovative and high profile two year programme of test sites across England to pioneer the education and training of the Nursing Associate, a new role for health and social care. The selected test sites will introduce a Trainee Nursing Associate role and related education, placements and support to enable the introduction of the new role across England from January 2019. This important initiative is a key component of the government and HEE’s commitment to build capacity to care and capability to treat within the health and care workforce for today, and to meet future needs of patients, and local health populations.
