Summary of the work Reporting, planning, manage the risk and issue registers and tracking / managing milestone plans. Specialist role Delivery manager Expected Contract Length Maximum 2 year Latest start date 15/08/2016 Who Speclialist Work With Programme Manager, Project Managers, Technical Architects, Business Analysts and PMO team - internal team, external supplier and business representation. What Specialists Work On Creating and managing RFC’s through the lifecycle; this will include initial specification and assuring supplier response, taking through approvals process and tracking/managing milestone plans. In addition the role encompasses reporting at both portfolio and project level via communications and check points. You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary team supporting the work stream; reporting, planning, manage the risk and issue registers and tracking / managing milestone plans. Skills & Experience • • 3+ years’ experience from a Project delivery/PMO function (Scores 10%) • • 2+ years’ experience of working in teams using an agile or iterative delivery methodology (Scores 10%) • • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity (10%) • • Encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value – give people space to think creatively (5%) • • Create clear, pragmatic and manageable plans and reports (5%) • • Has experience from public sector (5%) Nice to Haves • • Provide constructive challenge to senior management (5%) • • Experience in developing lightweight processes (Scores 5%) • • Experience in not allowing unnecessary bureaucracy and structure to suppress innovation and delivery (5%) Work Location 2 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 4DF although some UK travel many be expected. Working Arrangments 5 days per week, hands on, in the office working alongside the existing team. Security Clearance Minimum clearance is Disclosure Scotland. Candidates must also have SC or be eligible for SC clearance. Is this role to lead and manage the request for change process within the programme PMO or specifically to support a project within the programme. It’s a supporting role within a project, inside of the NLEDP programme.
