CLC5065 - Bike Packs for Schools

Tender description

The supply of Bike Packs, comprising bicycles, scooters, cycling accessories, associated equipment and services to schools within Tower Hamlets. The London Borough of Tower Hamlets (the Council) is a forward thinking local authority committed to helping children get fit and healthy by teaching them the skills they need to cycle safely and responsibly. The Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced bicycle retailer and service agents for the supply of a range of bicycles, scooters, cycling accessories, associated equipment and services. Bicycles, scooters, accessories and equipment must be delivered in accordance with the delivery timescale, assembled, installed, tested & inspected and ready for use. All items supplied must conform to all relevant EU and UK legislation and come supplied with minimum 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. The Council has a budget up to £70,000 to support this project and intends to select Bike Pack items to suit the needs and requirements of individual schools. The Council requires 21 Bike Packs and in is envisaged that full pack quantities with be ordered, but the Council can increase or decrease individual item quantities in accordance with specific requirements for individual schools. Pricing must be inclusive of delivery, assembly, installation, inspection and testing. Items requiring replacement or repair under guarantee must be collected and returned at no cost to the school or Council.
