ST300 Real Time Passenger Information System

Tender description

The contract comprises the provision, installation, expansion and maintenance of the RTPI system. This system requires an upgrade from static information to Real Time information, therefore the Contractor will also be required to replace or upgrade existing hardware and software. It also provides a contractual mechanism for Staffordshire County Council (Employer) to further expand the system during the contract period if they require. Where specified the upgraded system is to retain as much as possible the existing hardware, unless it is not technically or financially viable; if the latter is evident then an alternative is to be provided by the Contractor.
