Tender description

The authority requires a Development / Valuation Surveyor to take the lead in providing the following services: — Preparation of development viability studies; — Discussion and advice in connection with the most economically advantageous manner in which to develop the land to maximise the return for the University of Surrey which, for example may be in the form of a combination of profit, serviced land or housing stock; — Soft market testing for possible tenderers as Development Partners; — Lead and manage the tender process for the appointment of a Development Partner including, but not limited to; — Assist in the preparation of a contract notice, in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015; — Prepare robust tender documentation in collaboration with Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited and existing Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited advisors for issue to potential Development Partners; — Lead and manage tender returns, evaluation, and recommendations for the appointment of the successful Development Partner; — Assist in the issue of all award documentation and notices in collaboration with Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited and existing Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited advisors; — Advise on the structure of the Development Agreement in conjunction with the Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited Advisors; — Provision of ongoing support to the Blackwell Developments (Guildford) Limited on completion of the Development Partner Agreement; — Provision of other general development advice.
