Repair and maintenance services of electrical building installations

Tender description

A single contract for electrical rewires and remedial works for Stroud District Council's residential properties. The works will comprise rewires, electrical testing, PAT testing, planned maintenance of lightning protection and electrical heating replacements. The Contract will be for an initial 48 month period with the ability to extend to 120 months in 2 36-month extensions. The Contract will comprise the following works by value (per annum): 1. Rewires — 200 000 GBP; 2. Electrical Testing — 50 000 GBP; 3. Lightning Conductor — 5 000 GBP; 4. PAT Testing — 5 000 GBP; 5. Emergency Lighting — 5 000 GBP (from April 2017 onwards). Should the Employer's general repairs and maintenance contract not perform to the expected standards, an additional 250 000 GBP per annum of responsive repairs may be instructed through this Contract, but this is not to be assumed.
