Tender description

The Department for Work and Pension (DWP) intends to appoint an independent third party organisation which will become the Integrator of the DWP Estates Supply Chain. The Integrator function will be a key role for the Department in relation to the strategic performance management of the DWP Estates Supply Chain, which will provide facilities and property management services to the DWP across its entire estate (which is currently more than 900 properties across the UK). The general strategic management, governance and stewardship of the DWP Estates Supply Chain will be a matter for which the Department will retain responsibility. The Integrator would report into the relevant part of DWP with this strategic oversight and responsibility function. Key elements of the Integrator function will include: — Provision of focused day-to-day operational performance management of the DWP Estates Supply Chain, including taking financial risk on the performance of the DWP Estates Supply Chain; — Provision of a single point of contact for DWP personnel accessing services from the DWP Estates Supply Chain, coordinating responses to service requests; — Provision of the information system to collect and report information on the DWP Estate and on DWP Estates Supply Chain performance from which DWP will obtain reliable and transparent information on supplier performance.
