Mundesley Heating and Hot Water Systems Refurbishment

Tender description

The Council of the Isles of Scilly is seeking a suitable contractor to install a system that is compliant with its performance specification at Mundesley Boarding House and 3 adjoining flats on St Mary's, Isles of Scilly. The works will require some completion of the design and the subsequent installation of the systems during the school summer holiday period. Possession of the majority of the site will be available from the 28th July but will be re-occupied in 5th September 2016. The existing hot water system is communal in nature and feeds both the boarding house and the flats. Therefore, the works will need to be coordinated with occupants of the flats to ensure that the minimum possible disruption occurs during the delivery of the project to these residents. Providers should be aware that due to the restricted facilities on the Isles of Scilly it is unlikely that any construction and demolition waste will be able to be disposed of on the islands.
