Ground investigation work

Tender description

Multi-supplier framework agreement for the services of a number of experienced Ground Investigation Contractors to carry out works in connection with a number of Scottish transport infrastructure projects including the A9 and A96 Trunk Roads Dualling projects. The Multi-Supplier Framework Agreement will ensure the availability of a number of suitably experienced ground investigation providers, capable of executing such works in relation to Contracts of varying size, complexity and value. The ground investigation works required may include, but shall not be limited to, the supply and provision of: Suitably qualified professional and technical staff; equipment; plant; facilities; materials; and ancillaries, for the carrying out of some or all of the following for, and in conjunction where required with, the Scottish Ministers or their technical or professional advisors: — Boring and drilling; — Trial Pits; — Sampling; — In-situ monitoring and testing; — Geophysical survey techniques; — Laboratory testing; — Factual reporting; and — Provision of digital data.
