Environmental issues consultancy services

Tender description

Fáilte Ireland wishes to establish a contract for the provision of the following environmental services: 1. Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment (AA) consultancy services 2. Environmental surveying and monitoring services. 1. Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) and Appropriate Assessment 2. Environmental surveying and monitoring services which may be required to support potential mitigation measures arising from these assessments. From time to time Fáilte Ireland produces plans relating to tourism development and in some instances Strategic Environmental Assessment and/ or Appropriate Assessment of these plans may be required (e.g. as was the case in 2015 for the Wild Atlantic Way Operational Programme 2015-2019). At this stage however the number of plans for which SEA and AA are required under the contract are not known and no existing plans currently require these assessments.
