The City & County of Swansea proposes to create a sensitive high quality residential housing development comprising of 18no. PassivHaus Dwellings with a mix of 8no 2 storey 1 bedroom semi-detached apartments and 10no. 2 storey 2 bedroom semi-detached houses. Therefore invites you to tender: To design, manufacture, supply and install timber frame structures including roof trusses in accordance with the attached drawings 8815 PL110, 114 and 120 to achieve full Passivhaus accreditation and certification. And is to include and allow for the following: Full design calculations to be provided prior to installation Internal & External membranes and sheeting Fire Barriers Soleplates DPC factory fitted to sole plate First floor Joists Party walls Party floors to apartments Internal partitions Stairwell structures to be out-side of Passivhaus envelope but provisions allowed for elements to achieve min. Part LA of the Building regulation Plasterboard Noggins Longitudinal and diagonal bracing Eaves materials including soffit bearers and gable ladders as necessary Initial air tests and certification Hoisting, cranage and movement of materials on site including any temporary access as necessary. Fall arrest systems To undertake works in accordance with the Health and Safety at Works Act Allowance for mains feed residential sprinkler system to each unit loadings to be taken into consideration Allowance for rain-screen rendered cladding system loadings to be taken into consideration Allowance for zinc roof covering loadings to be taken into consideration.
