Tender description

The Trust had a high level feasibility study carried out in March 2016. The report identified that the potential existed to achieve energy savings by installing a CHP in the existing energy centre. It is anticipated that energy savings of between £300K and £450K, non-energy savings of £142K and £329K and carbon emission savings of between 2300 and 3500 tonnes are possible. The Trust now wish to appoint for a full and in-depth feasibility study to be carried out to establish the best option for the Trust to go to the market and obtain bids from suppliers. Part of improving the Trust’s energy performance will be to carry out improvements to the Hospital steam and electrical infrastructure.
