Sheffield City Region (SCR) Business Start-Up Support ‘Launchpad’ Specification: Continuous Improvement Support

Tender description

Whilst not intended to be an exhaustive list, the aims of the proposed support should include: An early priority to develop a Continuous Improvement Implementation Plan (CIIP) Review of activity identifying strength, weakness, risks, opportunity, best practice Review of governance structures, governance procedures, management information Evaluation and continual development of all procedures and processes Exploring efficient ways of working including a more flexible ICT-enabled workstyle Delivery of improvement workshops to support problem solving/process mapping Facilitating discussions with exemplar start up projects to enhance existing provision Sharing of new ideas, improvements and potential enhancements to provision Increasing interaction and collaboration with schools, colleges and universities Enhancement of links between internal and external stakeholders - see Appendix B Value for money assessment and benchmarking of support (internally and externally) Basic, intermediate and advanced training on LEAN tools and techniques Establishment of a dedicated Continuous Improvement Delivery team Plans to develop and implement a CPD communications plan/ CPD culture A continuation plan including recommendations for activities post 31st March 2019 To identify opportunities for additional funding to enhance/complement provision
