Tender description

The aim of the procurement is to establish a new and modern system to support for laboratory activities in Kripos and the Norwegian police. The Norwegian Police has the following general requirements for a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS): Expectations that legal security and quality are maintained. The Police Register Act requires traceability and verifiability. Future accreditation must be maintained. There is a need to offer more and better information for statistics and analysis purposes. The system shall be able to follow and track objects (custody/evidence) both in relation to time and place from they are at Kripos disposal, and until the objects have been released from Kripos. With this, complete notoriety over the custody and evidence logistics (which in international context is referred to chain of custody and chain of evidence) is achieved. The system shall also be able to avert misaction, misuse and loss of objects. Further information about the procurement is given in the requirement specification (SSA-T Annex 1 and SSA-V Annex 1).
