Summary of the work You’ll work in a multi-disciplinary agile team in servant role supporting the delivery team; reporting, meeting organisation, planning, manage the risk register. Provide a single point of contact for all enquiries and handle logistical issues. What Specialists Work On To provide Programme Management Support to the Digital Apprenticeships Team: Organise and minute meetings, Maintain the overall delivery plan, Track and report on spend against budget and flag issues with burn rate, Support the development and delivery of business cases, Manage the risk register and risk framework for the Digital Apprenticeships Service, Work with external stakeholders to provide clear and consistent reports and engagement, To provide a single point of contact and knowledge for all enquiries Skills & Experience • 3+ years experience from a PMO function (Scores 10%) • 2+ years experience of working in technology teams using an agile delivery methodology (Scores 10%) • Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity (6%) • Encourage a culture of innovation focused on adding value – give people space to think creatively (5%) • Create clear, pragmatic and manageable plans and reports (7%) • Has experience from public sector (5%) Nice to Haves • Provide constructive challenge to senior management (5%) • Experience in developing lightweight processes (Scores 2%) • Experience in not allowing unnecessary bureaucracy and structure to suppress innovation and delivery (5%) Work Location Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, 1 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0ET Working Arrangments Monday to Friday on site.
