Tender description
Highcliffe Castle is a Grade 1 listed building. With the support of the Heritage Lottery Fund, the owners (Christchurch Borough Council) are seeking to procure a works contract for internal and external construction works including structural works, alterations, building services installations, conservation and repairs and groundwork's. The works are centered around the East (Penleaze) Wing to provide access, exhibition and display space, offices, training and archive rooms, volunteer space open to the public to enable the growth of the visitor centre and wedding venue, reinterpretation and redisplay of the Castle its artefacts and its environment.
